INSTAR is actively contributing to the development of a comprehensive analysis of the most relevant knowledge areas and standards that should be addressed to support the harmonisation of 6G technologies.

This work is being carried out in close collaboration with a diverse pool of European experts and aligns with the strategic vision of the European Commission on 6G development.

Building on the foundation of existing digital partnerships between the European Commission, Republic of Korea, and Japan, INSTAR is launching a first open debate on the future of 6G standardisation and innovation roadmaps.

This event brings together key voices from across the ecosystem: policy-makers, industry leaders, research experts, academics, and members of the wider public to explore common priorities, identify potential synergies, and foster early alignment at international level, ensuring that Europe remains at the forefront of shaping the global 6G landscape.

The event provides a unique platform for open dialogue and exchange with international partners, contributing to a shared understanding of the strategic paths ahead.

Participants will have the opportunity to gain insights into current efforts and future directions in 6G standardisation. The discussion will also serve as a starting point for building long-term cooperation frameworks and supporting a globally harmonised 6G environment.
